AI SEO Agency Melbourne
You are already being described by AI assistants, whether or not you have done anything about it. The only questions are whether that description is accurate and whether you get named at all. We run AI SEO and classic SEO as one retainer, and we start with a readiness score on your actual site.
- Readable and
quotable - ChatGPT and
AI Overviews - Alongside Google
rankings
Illustrative example: an AI assistant answers a local question for a sample business. The answer names Your Business and lists its page as the first source. Two other pages were read but not named.
AI SEO
AI SEO, GEO and AEO are the same job under three names
You will see this work sold as AI SEO, as GEO (generative engine optimisation) and as AEO (answer engine optimisation). All three describe the same objective: being the source an assistant draws on when it answers a question, rather than a blue link somebody may or may not click.
The mechanics decide where the work goes. An assistant retrieves sources, writes an answer from them, then names some of what it used. Traditional SEO only influences the first of those. Being retrieved and then not cited is the most common failure and the least visible one, because nothing in your analytics records it happening.

How we work
How we run AI SEO
Three stages, starting with a number you can check yourself.
-
1. Readiness score
Seven weighted signals that decide whether an assistant can read your site and quote it. You get the score and the gaps whether or not you go ahead with us.
-
2. Fix what blocks retrieval
Crawler access, structured data that sits in the HTML rather than appearing after JavaScript runs, and a sitemap that resolves. Unglamorous, and everything downstream depends on it.
-
3. Write what gets cited
Pages that answer the question in the first paragraph and state specifics a machine can lift. Padded marketing copy has nothing in it worth quoting.
Included
GEO is included, not an upsell
Some agencies have started charging separately for generative engine optimisation, which is the discipline of getting cited by ChatGPT, Gemini and Google's AI Overviews. We think that is hard to justify. Most of the work that earns a citation is work that also improves your rankings: better structure, better schema, clearer facts, stronger authority. Splitting it into a second invoice sells the same effort twice.
It is part of the retainer here. If you want the detail on how AI engines pick their sources, see GEO optimisation in Melbourne.
The cost
Where the fee goes
The work stays. What changes is how many hands it passes through. One experienced expert does the research and owns the strategy, and AI helps organise and summarise, so work reaches production sooner.
| Compared on | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Monthly fee | Competitive, quoted against your actual site in the free audit |
| Who does the work | One experienced expert, with AI helping to organise and summarise |
| Minimum term | 30 day terms, no lock-in |
| Where the fee goes | Into the work, with fewer hands between the audit and the finished result |
Fewer hands between the audit and the finished work lowers what it costs us to deliver. As AI advances we pass savings on where we can, and what that frees up goes into your media budget, which is where it produces leads.

What SEO clients say
“We found Dizian through a trusted referral, and I’m glad we did. Before engaging Alex, our SEO and Google Ads were honestly in a mess. There was no clear structure, money was being spent without clarity, and campaigns were being tested without a proper strategy. Alex came in, reviewed everything thoroughly, and cleaned up a lot of loose ends. He brought structure, accountability, and clarity to our digital marketing. It immediately removed the headache of wasted ad spend and uncertainty. Unlike many SEO agencies out there, Dizian genuinely takes the time to understand the client’s requirements, the products, and the overall business model. Alex didn’t apply a generic template — he took the time to understand what we do and aligned the strategy accordingly. What stands out most to me is Alex’s integrity and character. He is trustworthy, transparent, and genuinely committed to helping his clients succeed. His depth of knowledge and experience is strong.”
Irwandy TanDirector, Andatech
“Dizian has been an integral partner in our online business requirements for the last 5 years. Alex has been attentive to all of our digital needs and has allowed us to grow our online presence in a very competitive industry. We are very pleased with his services and continue to see positive results.”
Dr. Jena WardPrincipal Dentist, Skye Dental
“Dizian Digital made our move to satphoneshop.com.au seamless and handled the transition with care and professionalism. They protected our search visibility throughout the process and helped strengthen our online presence in the Australian market. Beyond the migration, they improved the structure and performance of our campaigns, which helped us attract more of the right customers and generate better quality enquiries and sales. They were proactive, clear in their communication, and genuinely took the time to understand our business, our products, and the importance of trust and reliability in the satellite communications space.”
“We were looking for an agile, responsive and strategic digital partner to help manage our website. Dizian met our brief and continues to deliver beyond expectations, providing proactive and valuable SEO and data-driven expertise.”
AI can speed up parts of the work, such as organising and summarising research and audit findings. It cannot decide what matters for your business or answer for the result. One experienced expert does the research, makes the decisions and stays accountable for every account.
In our experience Melbourne retainers commonly run $2,500 to $7,000 a month +GST. Some providers quote considerably more than that. Our pricing is competitive because AI-enabled delivery means fewer hands between the audit and the finished work, and as AI advances we pass savings on where we can.
An agency that works on whether AI assistants can read your site and quote it, alongside your classic Google rankings. In practice that means crawler access, structured data, answer-shaped content, and enough authority that a model treats you as credible. If someone sells you AI SEO with no technical work in it, that is a warning.
In our experience, most businesses see early movement in about 8 to 12 weeks, with the compounding gains after that. AI-enabled delivery makes the work happen faster, but it does not make Google re-evaluate your site faster. Anyone promising page one in a month is either chasing phrases with no demand or doing something you will pay for later.
Time, mostly. One expert does the research and the audit directly instead of passing information through several hands, and AI helps organise and summarise what they find. Production starts sooner, and as AI advances we pass savings on where we can.
Google's position is that it judges quality, not authorship. In practice, unedited AI content tends to be generic, unsourced and interchangeable, which is exactly what does not rank. Drafted by AI and then edited, fact-checked and given a real point of view by a person: that ranks fine, and it is how we work.
The foundations are identical. Technical health, useful content and genuine authority still decide everything. What changes is the emphasis: answer-first structure, cleaner schema, clear statements of fact that can be lifted and quoted, and entity clarity so machines know who you are. If someone sells you AI SEO with no technical work in it, that is a warning.
Two things done as one job: optimising so your pages rank in classic Google results, and structuring them so AI systems quote you when they answer a question. The underlying work overlaps heavily, which is why splitting it into two retainers makes no sense.
