Google Display Ads Management
Display advertising done deliberately: remarketing that reminds, placements that are vetted, and none of the junk-inventory spend that gives display a bad name.
- Remarketing
that reminds - Vetted
placements - No junk-inventory
spend
Illustrative example: a news page for a sample publisher with a Your Business display ad in its banner slot. A mobile game app and a parked domain are excluded as placements, and a returning visitor sees the ad under a weekly frequency cap.
Google Display Ads
Display works as a support channel, not a primary one
We will be straight about this one, because a lot of agencies are not. Google Display advertising is excellent for remarketing and for staying visible to people who already know you. It is a poor primary channel for most small businesses, and judging it on direct conversions from cold audiences guarantees disappointment.
Used deliberately it earns its place at low cost. Used as a volume play it produces impressive-looking click numbers and almost no customers.

Network and targeting
The difference that matters
Display is the network: roughly two million websites and apps where ads can appear. Remarketing is a targeting method: showing ads to people who have already visited you. You can run Display to either, and the remarketing version performs far better in almost every account we see.
A low click price on traffic that never converts is not a saving. It is just a smaller number attached to the same wasted budget.
How we work
How we keep Display clean
- Mobile apps and parked domains excluded at account level, which alone removes most junk traffic
- Placement reports reviewed regularly, with exclusions added as they appear
- Content and topic exclusions for anything off-brand
- Frequency capping, so remarketing reminds rather than irritates
- Measurement on cost per conversion and assisted contribution, never on click volume
Fit
When Display is the right call
- You have meaningful site traffic to remarket to
- Your sales cycle is long enough that staying visible matters
- Search is already capturing the demand that exists, and you want reach beyond it
- You have creative worth showing, because Display is a visual medium and a text-only responsive ad rarely earns attention
If none of those apply yet, put the budget into Search first. We would rather tell you that than take the management fee.

Testimonials
What Google Ads clients say
“I've had the privilege of working closely with Alex since 2018. His skillset and dedication to genuinely adding significant value to his client's is second to none. Highly, highly recommend for businesses looking to secure an unfair advantage for their business on Google.”

“Dizian Digital made our move to satphoneshop.com.au seamless and handled the transition with care and professionalism. They protected our search visibility throughout the process and helped strengthen our online presence in the Australian market. Beyond the migration, they improved the structure and performance of our campaigns, which helped us attract more of the right customers and generate better quality enquiries and sales. They were proactive, clear in their communication, and genuinely took the time to understand our business, our products, and the importance of trust and reliability in the satellite communications space.”
“Alex was able to help us implement an upgrade to our Google Ads Search and Shopping campaign structure across NZ and Australia. He helped ensure the structure was set up in a way that was clear and easy to use. Alongside this, he designed a supporting user friendly dashboard to report progress. Alex really knows his way around Google Ads and was very responsive to our needs during the project.”
“We found Dizian through a trusted referral, and I’m glad we did. Before engaging Alex, our SEO and Google Ads were honestly in a mess. There was no clear structure, money was being spent without clarity, and campaigns were being tested without a proper strategy. Alex came in, reviewed everything thoroughly, and cleaned up a lot of loose ends. He brought structure, accountability, and clarity to our digital marketing. It immediately removed the headache of wasted ad spend and uncertainty. Unlike many SEO agencies out there, Dizian genuinely takes the time to understand the client’s requirements, the products, and the overall business model. Alex didn’t apply a generic template — he took the time to understand what we do and aligned the strategy accordingly. What stands out most to me is Alex’s integrity and character. He is trustworthy, transparent, and genuinely committed to helping his clients succeed. His depth of knowledge and experience is strong.”
What it costs
What management costs
Two separate numbers, and any quote that merges them is hiding something. Ad spend goes to Google and is yours to set. Our plans start at $550 a month (Foundational) and $850 a month (Growth), both +GST, with a custom plan for larger accounts.
Our pricing is competitive because AI-enabled delivery means fewer hands between the audit and the finished work, and as AI advances we pass savings on where we can.
You keep ownership of the account either way. No lock-in, 30 day terms, and an accredited Google Partner with over 14 years behind it.

Cost per click on Display is typically a fraction of Search, because intent is far lower. That low price is the trap: a low cost per click on traffic that never converts is still wasted budget. Judge it on cost per conversion and on its assisted contribution, not on the click price.
Exclude mobile apps and parked domains at account level, review the placement report regularly and add exclusions, and use content and topic exclusions for anything off-brand. This is ongoing maintenance rather than a one-off setup, and it is the single biggest source of wasted Display spend we find.
Usually accidental mobile app clicks and low-quality placements. Display picks up a lot of junk traffic from games and content farms unless you actively exclude it. Check your placement report, exclude mobile apps, and if the click volume looks too good to be true for the spend, it generally is.
Display is the network, the roughly two million websites and apps where the ads can appear. Remarketing is a targeting method, showing ads to people who have already visited you. You can run Display to cold audiences or to remarketing audiences, and the remarketing version performs far better in almost every account we see.
They work well for remarketing and for staying visible to people already aware of you, and poorly as a cold-traffic channel for most small businesses. The common failure is judging Display on direct conversions from cold audiences, which it was never going to deliver. Used as a support channel it earns its place; used as a primary one it usually does not.
